Today, with the same personnel from the 1950s and with forty additional years of experience and polish, they are acclaimed as one of the foremost traditional jazz bands in the world.


Tom Bartlett - trombone
A Salty Dog since his Purdue days in West Lafayette, Indiana over 40 years ago.

Cooper
John Cooper- piano
Joined the band while in high school in Lafayette nearly 50 years ago. After Purdue, moved to Chicago with the rest of the gang.
Cusack
Kim Cusak - clarinet
Like Mike, first performed with the band at Purdue in 1958. Kim is a well known Jazz figure throughout the U.S.A.
Lew Green
Lew Green - cornet

With "Dogs" for over 45 years. Started at Purdue and moved the band to their current Chicago base in 1960.
Jones
Wayne Jones - drums
Another West Lafayette native. Associated with the band from it's start. Frequently mistaken for Gabby Hayes.
Leigh
Carol Leigh - vocals
Joined the "Dogs" in Chicago in 1974. Featured with the "Dogs" ever since. Performs frequently in Europe and Japan.
Kuncl
Jack Kuncl - banjo
Joined the "Dogs" at their Sloppy Joe's engagement in Chicago in the 1960s. Email: BanjoJack@yahoo.com
Walbridge
Mike Walbridge - tuba
First performed with the "Dogs" in 1958 at Purdue. Still having fun in the year 2000.
